This
course will introduce the paralegal students to the issues, matters and
challenges they will face in paralegal practice in Ontario. Students will learn
about the governance structure for their profession (Law Society of Ontario),
the scope of paralegal practice, and the professional obligations of
practitioners. It will focus on the
paralegal’s duties to the client, the courts, the public, the profession and
its regulator.
