The course will examine the primary legislative and common law sources of law that govern the exercise of authority by governmental agencies; particularly when those agencies are acting as a tribunal. Students will develop an understanding of the general nature, functions and procedures of tribunals, their differences and similarities to courts, and the methods by which their power is controlled and their decisions may be challenged.
